Ross Meisner Re-elected to Fridley School Board.

Meisner excited to continue leading ISD 14 to support the success of every student.

Fridley, MN, November 3, 2021 — Ross Meisner re-elected to Fridley School Board.

Meisner lives in Fridley and has two active teenagers in the Fridley public school system. He is an entrepreneur and former business owner. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration. His business and education backgrounds influence the decision-making style he brings to the Fridley School Board.

“The right path is rarely the easy path,” Meisner said. “I am fact-based and will make the hard decisions thoughtfully and carefully, because the details matter to our children and our teachers.”

Meisner has decades of experience in the technology and healthcare industries, and is currently Chief Commercial Officer at Basil Systems.  Meisner was encouraged to run for re-election by families that know his desire to actively support the success of our community and our families.

Meisner was born in Cloquet, MN. He comes from a family of teachers, union members, and nature lovers. His community involvement includes one year on the Fridley School Board as Treasurer, serving on the Fridley City Planning Commission and the Springbrook Nature Center Foundation, and six years leading the school board of the public charter school DaVinci Academy of Arts and Science in the Blaine/Ham Lake area.

“I’m honored to be entrusted by the community to keep serving on the Fridley School Board.  I have a passion for public education and deep experience to contribute to our school district,” Meisner said.

“My style is to listen and learn about the ideas and concerns of Fridley families, then incorporate that into a path forward for our schools. The challenges our schools face today are complex. My experience will help us keep moving forward, remain flexible as the environment changes, and communicate clearly to Fridley families,” Meisner said.
