Campaign Announcement

What an amazing experience to rally together in these difficult COVID-19 times to deliver on our foundational democratic principles. My sincere thanks to the SD41 team for their impressive effort to pull it off so smoothly! It has been my honor to work with so many wonderful people who have supported my state Senate campaign. Today I find myself in fine company, from Lincoln to Wellstone to Obama and more, that were not successful in their initial political efforts. My congratulations to Mary Kunesh-Podein on her endorsement. I appreciate her service to our community, her positive campaign, and her clear commitment to continue driving our DFL values in the legislature. I look forward to working with her. While I am suspending my campaign, I will continue to invest my time and energy to ensure our democratic candidates and priorities will prevail locally, state-wide, and nationally. It has been such a pleasure to engage with the people in our community, to hear your voices and discuss the issues we face today. Most importantly, thank you to all the delegates for your time and participation, thank you to my campaign team and advisors, and thank you to the donors and civic leaders who have supported my campaign. This campaign was a new page for me personally, but only another step in my continuing commitment to serve our community. There is much yet to be done, and I look forward to working with you all to advance our cause, together. Sincerely, Ross Meisner
